DAY 1: Arrive to Aguas Calientes town
- The tour starts at 08:30 a.m; we’ll pick you up from your hotel.
- Visit the local market at the town of Pisac.
- Explore the Inca ruins of Pisac and Ollantaytambo
- Stop for lunch at the town of Urubamba
- In the afternoon, we’ll take the train for two hours to the town of «Aguas Calientes».
- Overnight in the town of «Aguas Calientes».
DAY 2: Explore full day Machu Picchu
- We’ll wake up very early and take a bus up to Machu Picchu.
- See the sunrise and then continue the tour for 2-3 hours.
- Enjoy the free time after the tour (optional climb the Huayna Picchu Mountain)
- Descent to the town of «Aguas Calientes».
- 15-minute walk up to the hot springs.
- Enjoy your dinner in one of the restaurants – overnight.
DAY 3: Return to Cusco
- Take the train at 08:45 a.m and return to Ollantaytambo train station.

Optionally you can climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu, walk to the sun gate or to the Inca bridge. Our Machu Picchu Tour is highly recommended for people with physical difficulties.
Machu Picchu Tour starts in the city of Cusco, from where we’ll drive through the Sacred Valley of the Incas visiting traditional markets and Inca ruins in Pisaq and Ollantaytambo. Then we travel by train for 2 hours to the picturesque town of «Aguas Calientes». Overnight here and the next day very early take a bus for 30 minutes up to Machu Picchu and explore MACHUPICCHU Inca sanctuary with our best guide.
After the tour, you’ll enjoy a free time within Machu Picchu for further exploration. finally, we’ll return to the town and head to the thermal baths to relax in the natural hot springs.
The next day at around 08:00 a.m you’ll take the train to Ollantaytambo train station where our staff will be waiting for you and transfer you to your hotel in Cusco; the tour includes hotel of 3-stars category.
Machu Picchu is a Quechua word (Inca language) that means «Old Peak or Old Mountain»; It is an amazing pre-Columbian Inca temple located at 2,400 masl or 8,000 ft. The geat Machu Picchu is located in the southern part of Peru in the region of Cusco – Peru, to 500 meters above the Urubamba River. Archeologists believe that Machu Picchu was built as an estate for the Inca Emperor Pachacutec (1438–1472). It is often referred to as the «Lost City of the Incas», it is perhaps the most familiar icon of the Inca civilization.
The Inca site of Machu Picchu has become an important tourist attraction; with its spectacular location, it’s the best-known archaeological site on the continent. In the high season from late May until early September, the maximum limit of 2,500 people arrive daily.

We are often asked for advice on common amounts however, and suggest that you consider around US$ 5-10 per person per day for guides, US$ 3-7 p/p/day for assistant guides or tour leaders, and US$ 2-5 p/p/day for porters and drivers.

Yes! You must bring your original passport and it is very important that it is the same passport that you sent us to reserve your Machu Picchu Permits. Your passport will be checked at the Machu Picchu checkpoint and when you board the train.
UPDATE PASSPORT NUMBERS:
If you are renewing your passport, feel free to email us a copy of your old passport to reserve your Machu Picchu Permits. If you no longer have your old passport, any government-issued ID will be accepted, as long as the name is the same. Once you have received your new passport. Email us a copy of your new passport as soon as possible to change your ticket information.
This will depend on the availability of trains. Our reservations are generally from 5:05 p.m. from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes on day 1 and the return train ticket is at 2:55 p.m., you will arrive in Cusco at 6:30 p.m.
According to Peruvian law, you must be under 18 years of age at the time of your visit to Machu Picchu (if you are 18 years of age or older, you need a valid student ID). Below is an example of a valid student card
- All students ages 11-17 receive a $20 discount.
- For children from 2 to 11 years old, the reduction is 30 USD.
