Description for Cusco Classic Tour
4-day Cusco Classic Tour includes visiting Cusco’s historical center, the Sacred Valley of the Incas including the Inca ruins of Pisaq and Ollantaytambo. The tour package of Cusco Classic Tour begins in the city of Cusco, where you’ll have the choice to visit the nervy Inca ruins like: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara Tambomachay and the temple of the Sun or “Qorikancha” located near the main square.
Continuing the tour you’ll travel through the Sacred Valley, we’ll visit Pisaq and continue until the town of “Urubamba”; here we’ll stop for lunch and you can taste the Peruvian cuisine. Aafter a great lunch we’ll continue for half hour until we reach the town of Ollantaytambo where we’ll explore the Inca fortress. In the afternoon we’ll ride the train for two hours to the picturesque town of Aguas Calientes and have acommodation in the hotel. The next day very early we’ll explore Machu Picchu and in the afternoon we’ll return to Cusco.

Short Itinerary for Cusco Classic Tour
Day 1: Cusco
Arrival to Cusco before noon, we will meet you in the airport and transfer you to the designated hotel. In the afternoon, you will have guided city tour.
Day 2: Pisaq & Ollantaytambo
A full-day tour visiting the Sacred Valley of the Incas. First, we’ll visit Pisac ruins, perched on a hilltop with incredible views of the snow-capped mountains. Then, we’ll visit the traditional markets; later we’ll explore the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo. In the afetrenoon we ride the train to Aguas Calientes town.
Day 3: Machu Picchu
Explore the mystical Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Soak up the wonderful views; discover why this incredible site was named one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.
Day 4: Departure
Transfer to the airport.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Cusco
4-day Cusco Classic Tour begins once you arrive to Cusco city before noon. We’ll wait for you in the airport with your name in a blackboard. Once you arrive, you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you’ll receive briefing of the trip. In the hotel a cup of coca tea will be served which is very good for the Altitud.
At 1:30 PM, you will have guide Cusco City Tour; which last for 4:30 hours. During the CUSCO city Tour, you’ll visit the Cusco’s Main Square, the Cathedral, Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuaman, Q’enko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. The tour ends at 06:00PM approximately at the Main Square in order that you can have your dinner in one of the restaurants. (No meals included).

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas (Pisaq & Ollantaytambo)
The Sacred Valley Tour begins at 08:00 AM. For this tour, we’ll pick you up from the hotel and travel by bus through the picturesque valley of Urubamba which was an important cradle of food for the Incas. The Sacred Valley is a lush agricultural area that continues to supply the city of Cusco with much of its production, specially corn and vegetables.
For this tour, we leave the city of Cusco by bus, passing several Inca sites like Sacsayhuaman, Pucapucara, Tambomachay, etc. Half hour after we’ll stop at “Awana Kancha” where we’ll visit the countryside women weaving blankets and garments in their traditional way; Here you also will see Llamas, Alpaca, Vicuñas, Guanacos and Sury (local animals domesticated by the Incas).

Then we’ll continue half hour drive until the town of Pisaq where we’ll visit the traditional market; we’ll stay in the market for one hour after that we’ll drive 20 minutes up to the mountain where we’ll explore the Pisaq Inca ruins. Then we’ll continue driving through the Sacred Valley until the town of Urubamba where you’ll enjoy your lunch.
After lunch the tour continues half hour drive to the town of Ollantaytambo; site of another large Inca ruins. Ollantaytambo Inca ruins is the major site known as the best surviving example of Inca urban planning and engineering; it is admired for its huge steep terraces guarding the Inca Fortress, and for being one of the few places where the Spaniards lost a major battle during the conquest.
In the afternoon we’ll take the train and travel for two hours to the town of Aguas Calientes and have accommodation in a hotel.

Day 3: Machu Picchu Tour
Have an early breakfast in the hotel and leave your personal belongings in the reception of the hotel; then we walk 5 minutes from the hotel to the bus station and board a morning bus for 25 minutes up to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu where our Machu Picchu Tour Guide will explain you all about Machu Picchu.
The tour will last for 2-3 hours; during this time you’ll explore the most important sites of Machu Picchu among then the Agricultural zone and the Urban zone. In The Urban zone you’ll see the finest Inca engineering including the temple of the sun, the temple of the mother earth, the temple of the Andean cosmology, the sundial, the temple of the condor and many other important sites. After the tour, there is an option to climb the mountain of “Wayna Picchu” (check availability).
After all in Machu Picchu you’ll to take the bus and return to the town of Agus Calientes where you can have your lunch in one of the restaurants. In the afternoon, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo; and from here we’ll transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.
