  • The Inca Trail closes in February as it is the most intense month of the rainy season.
  • The same availability rules apply to every agency.
  • As it is very popular, the Inca trail can book out quickly. In a moment 50 spaces can be gone.
  • The spaces shown in this link show the 2-day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, 4 day-Inca Trail Machu Picchu and the 5 day-Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
  • Availability is exclusively controlled by the Peruvian authorities so there is no flexibility.
  • There are only 500 spaces a day for the Inca Trail which includes staff. The spaces are divided between 200 tourists and 300 porters.
  • In order to reserve a space in the spectacular Wañaywayna camping spot, we recommend that you book a day with more than 100 available spaces. Otherwise, we may have to place you in a different campsite.
