How is «Sunrise Peru Trek» able to offer such competitive prices?
We spend your money providing an authentic experience, instead of on lavish hotels and expensive western-style meals. We pass these savings on to you with our low prices. Another thing, you’ll notice is the inclusions. While we don’t include everything, we do throw in the major highlights of a destination, the things that everyone goes to see. On every trip page, we show you the ‘Included Highlights’ of your trip, things that many other companies charge locally for.
If i want to extend my trip can I change the date of my flight tickets?
Yes, we will make a change as long as there is space on the plane. Sometimes, you will have to pay an extra US$10.00 to change the date depending on the airline.
How many people can join a tour?

Is the trek difficult, do I need to be in great shape?
The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is a program designed for travellers with and without trekking experience. You will arrive in Cusco 2 days before you start to hike. This will give you an opportunity to acclimatize to the altitude. You will do simple activities on this days (check the Itinerary about) which will also help. The Inca Trail is 45km and the maximum elevation is 4,200 masl. The trek consists of walking slowly enjoying the mountain views, the plants, the birds, stopping for snacks and lunch and for explanations of Inca history. The first day, we will walk 15km/8 hours, second day 15km/8 hours, the third day 10km/5 hours and the last day 5km/2 hours. The first day is always the hardest. We use the non-traditional camping sites to be closer to nature. We recommended that you run, walk, or go to the gym on a regular basis before you come. This will make your trip more enjoyable. Our goal is that everyone who does the Inca Trail with SUNRISE finishes and has a great time

Please also note that extra accommodations must be booked outside of 30 days of departure.
Are airport transfers included?
Most of our adventures do not include airport transfers and so we recommend you arrange a taxi on arrival (this is the most economical and efficient way of getting you to your hotel). If you would prefer a pre-arranged transfer, these are usually available at an additional cost – please contact us for more information.
What is the most apropiate type of luggage to bring?
We strongly recommend bringing a backpack or duffel bag, as suitcases can be cumbersome and difficult to store in buses, under seats, etc. Keep in mind that you will normally have to carry your own luggage on and off buses and trains and up and down hotel staircases. Suitcases with wheels may not work well on dirt or cobblestone roads.
Is tipping included and if not, how much should i budget?
Tips are not included in the tour price and tipping is entirely at your discretion.
